Emerald Martindale aka Emmy is a Boxer, and she was born February 7th, 2007 in Portland, Oregon. She has been attending the Westside facility. Yeah, woohoo!!! since April 2009. Her favorite treatis mmmm Bully Sticks yummy! and her favorite Toy: Outside: her Nerf Weather Blitz football. Inside: her stuffed hedgehog (he squeaks and honks). Emmy's favorite Activity: Playing football!!! In the yard, on the beach, at the dog park, or anywhere she can run fast and her parents can throw far.

One word to describe Emmy is: Wiggly (from her head down to her toes and her little docked tail) Emerald's funny habits are she has major springs for back legs. She could easily jump our fence but doesn't realize that she could propel herself not only upwards but forwards. So instead she bounces along the fence jumping straight up and down (up to 5 feet in the air, like a kangaroo) She looks ridiculous. Also she thinks she is either a lap dog or an actual baby. She will let her dad carry her in his arms on her back in a cradle position and she'll just give him kiss after kiss like it is totally normal!

How Emerald became part of her family when her dads parent's boxer Diamond was having a carefully planned litter of puppies and they were all so excited! So they were there when she was born! Her dad picked her out immediately before she was even cleaned up and said that's going to be our girl. Almost all the puppies stayed within the immediate family and all the girls got jewel names in honor of their mom Diamond, (Emerald, Ruby Pearl etc.) She even had her own faux emerald studded collar until she finally grew out of it.

Zoe aka ZoZo or Zoom Zoom is a Boston Terrier and she was born June 18, 2006 in Molalla, OR. Zoe attends the Eastside facility, she starting going there when she was 6 months old. Zoe's favorite treat is Pirate Booty (when it accidentally drops on the floor). Her favorite toy is her chuck it. Zoe parents really liked the name “Zoe” and it seemed to fit her well.

Zoe likes to zoom around the yard and house like a greyhound. It is completely random and her parents never know when she is about to do it.

Zoe became a part of her family after they had lost a couple dogs to illnesses within the same year. After a few months the were missing having a dog in there lives. So... they got Zoe, they drove to Molalla to see her. First they had second thoughts and thought it was too soon for a new dog. Her mom talked her dad into it and they took Zoe home. She won her dads heart the moment they got her home and has been a great daughter ever since.

Belle aka Belly Belle or Ms. Belle is a Boxer/Lab who was born June 22, 2008 in Bull Head City, AZ. Belle has been attending the East location since she was about 14 weeks old. Belle's favorite treats are dog bones. She loves to chase her soccer ball, and is a huge fan of Kong's and Jolly Balls. Her favorite sport is soccer. Belle's mom adopted her when she was 5 weeks old, she has been a wonderful addition to there family.

Maddie is a Pointer mix who has been attending the East location since she was 9 months old. Maddie's favorite treats are dog biscuits and raw hide bones, she also loves her eggs and toast for breakfast. Maddie like to go for long walks and is a crazy girl at daycare : ) She loves to sit on the couch or stairs with her front paws on the floor or on the stairs below. It always makes her family laugh. Maddie's family adopted her from the Humane Society after there elderly dog passed away at 16. They felt an instant connection with Maddie when they first met her. She is a lot of fun, high enerfy dog who loves to come to daycare and play!

Katy Daly Callen is a Golden Retriever who wwas born on November, 12, 2004 in Battleground, WA. She has been attending the Westside location for about four years. Her favorite food is ice cream and she loves to play with her Kong (especially when it is filled with peanut butter). Her favorite activity is going to doggy daycare. If there was one word to describe Katy, it would be "Busy."

Katy's dad plays the Mandolin (good) and the Violin (not good), when he practices the Mandolin Katy puts her head on his foot and goes to sleep. When her dad switches to the fiddle, she gets up, looks at him, and slowly walks out of the room. Katy became part of the Callen family as a gift from there daughter.
